How to join the Developer DAO

First, understand how it works.

To join the DAO you need to get a ticket in form of an NFT. It's free but you have to pay a gas fee ⛽️ (i.e transaction charges in ETH i.e Ethereum) which keeps changing. So keep a web3 wallet like MetaMask ready with enough ETH to pay the fees. I paid $73 worth of ETH

Step 1 - Find an unminted token on this site https://ddao.ibby.dev/

Step 2 - Copy an id you like. say - 1592

Step 3 - Head to https://etherscan.io/token/0x25ed58c027921E14D86380eA2646E3a1B5C55A8b#writeContract

You should see a similar page

Step 4 - Click on the "Connect to Web3" button.

This will open up a pop. Select your favorite wallet and connect it...

Step 5 - Click on "claim" and enter your token id

Step 6 - Write !!

A confirmation window will open up which will show you the current gas price... Anything below $75 is good... (Unless you are an ETH millionaire)

If you see a message saying "unknown processing time"

Click on edit -> Edit Suggest Gas Fee -> Select Medium -> Save

If you have enough funds you will be able to click on confirm.

Step 7 - Head here https://discord.gg/j7ApH96V to join the discord server... Head to get-verified channel

Send !join in the channel and watch your DM for further instructions...
